SAY GOODBYE TO THE ERA OF EASY MONEY, SAY HELLO TO THE AGE OF AUSTERITY AND PREPARED TO BE SCARED.

I remember the last time we lived scared. It was 1980. Iran had taken hostages. Russia was building a vast nuclear arsenal. People built nuclear fallout shelters. Then, it all turned... on a group of college hockey kids from Boston and Minnesota - who stunned the world and beat Russian Hockey Red Machine.

There were two turning points of the USA empire in the 1900s. Pearl Harbor and that hockey game.

Since 1980, we have lived securely in peace and in luxury. Almost so well, it is perhaps, mankind's most shining moment of accomplishment by any measure that can be gauged.

-------------------------------

There's another Massive turning point coming. I would argue this is Larger than the other two.

The avg family in the us makes about 30k.

The avg unfunded liability for that same family is $650,000.00.

Whatever you think of our deficit now, we are About to hit the Acceleration Point of the curve UPWARD, where things become very retarded, at mind blowing speed. (See interest rate arguments in posts 1-2 years ago.)

------------------------------

I believe the modern economies of the modern world are destined to fail in some manner shape or form. I believe this will happen within 9 years now.

I have argued for 2 years against Obama and the modern establishment.

I think we can say I was correct over the past two years about this credit crisis. That is, we cannot grow out of this recession.

-----------------------------

Ultimately, if you cannot pay what you owe, you have to live with less. MASSIVELY LESS.

We are Entering what could be a 15-20 years of AGE OF AUSTERITY.

----------------------------

This all comes at very dangerous time. So dangerous, our way of life is constantly in peril.

WHAT???!!!

1. In attempt to grow so fast and efficiently, we (modern society) are spread too thin. Our profit may be great, but our ability to handle disruption is horrible and as such, disasters become worse than they 'should' have been. ie. Juggling is a dangerous game.

2. A kid miraculously slows its growth from teenager to adult. Who knows when that will happen. But, the change is enormous and of vast consequence. This is what our society is undergoing at this moment in time. ie. Unpredictable.

3. Planet Earth is also undergoing a massive change. Our tectonic plates are on the move and there are massive earthquakes echoing across the globe. Obviously, this also leads to natural disasters we havent seen in the modern era. I have a thesis on this but I need more evidence. ie. Mother Nature is pissed.

4. Iran will hit nuclear weapon capability within the year. I think this is one of those tick tocks that people hoped would never ever count to zero. Well, time is up. Now, what will Israel do? ie. The game of Bullshit is scary.

5. Help Fatigue. For those that are able, they are being tapped for HELP ME, everyday, seemingly forever. As crisis after crisis occurs, disaster after disaster... those that can help are being fatigued and burned out of energy and resources. ie. Cry wolf is really exhausting.

**** In sum, when you are thin and weakened and have taken so many body blows, what really can you do when the tidal wave of hits are going to get four times larger. At what point, do you just cave and drop?****

--------------------

So what have we learned this year?

My thesis was correct. Now, we will begin to enter that part of the roller coaster that begins to make your stomach sink.

I am going to promise everyone one thing. ALL of you will have an, "O SHIT" moment of a lifetime in the next three years.
--------------------

Look, dont take this as doom and gloom. This is just reality. Things grow up. Things mature. Balance needs to be reestablished. If not by will, then by force.

The music will end. There is going to be tremendous relocation.

I think there will be global worldwide civil unrest.

Most of life in history lives in fear. We need to remember there's a consequence of our actions.

Then, the world makes a new revolution. And then, a shining new world will go forward. We just have to survive getting there!

I would like to bring up one thing from obama's campaign.

In the high heat of the presidential campaign... the subject of iraq came to an apex. Obama was ofc against it. The fact that he was against it, doesnt bother me.

What bothered me is... How many times did he meet with our commander in Iraq? (If you look back, I posted on this way back when.)

ZERO.

How many times did Clinton meet? Six.

McCain? Too many to count.

--------------------------

After a month, How many times has Obama met with the CEO of BP?

ZERO.

After a month, How many times has Obama met with the CEO of BP?

ZERO.

This particular CEO probably didn't need a massage this month from the pretend leader in chief.

At least Obama is smart enough to know who runs the world. Most likely this bit of wisdom is keeping him alive.
